OK...yes, it's been a while....alright, it's been months and months. I've been super busy, and there's not much to say. I went to Homecoming this past weekend at the W. Super interesting. I was waiting for World War III to break out at any moment with all the drama that's occurred over the last year. The best part of it was getting to hang out with my friends and people I hadn't seen in forever. Awe....I'll post a pic or two soon.

All work and no play, makes Ashley a very dull girl.

And also makes Ashley have no life. Oh well, work is wonderful-I absolutely love it. I love the people, atmosphere, the work-everything! I have gotten to have some fun outside of work since I started. I went to the casino in Philadelphia with Val and Jen, which was a lot of fun. I lost $40+, but it was definitely worth it. There were some really hot guys up there too....not bad.

Came up to Columbus yesterday after work for the BL march. Got to see my 2, 4, 7, 8, and 13, which was awesome. We went out to Zachery's afterwards and got hammered. Katie, Nat, and I were followed back to Katie's apartment a couple blocks away. We decided to walk back since it was only a short distance away. For some reason, I look back, and this guy was following us. He kept gaining speed, so Nat (the sober one-I promise, one drink with barely any alcohol an hour before does not count), Katie, and I got in my car, and Nat drove around the block a couple of times but could not find him. He had disappeared! WTF?! We know he was back there, and we were pretty freaked out. We didn't want him to know where we were staying. That's Columbus, MS, for you. I know it wasn't the guy who was hitting on me when I was closing out my bar tab (btw, he was pretty cute but he lives in Columbus-gross) because he and one of his buddies left and went to another bar (we saw them go in). Luckily, we were ok for the rest of the night.

I am tired and feel like I am getting a sinus infection (not good with my history). I have to go back to Jackson tomorrow. Yah! What a fun drive! (Can you detect the sarcasm? I truly hope so.)

Hello everyone! You are now reading the blog of the new Associate Research Analyst of the GodwinGroup in Jackson!!!! I'm really excited and want to thank everyone for their support. I've been really nervous about it all, and I haven't gotten much sleep in the last week and a half. This is what I really wanted because I will be using my degree. Two of my favorite marketing topics-Advertising and Research....it's wonderful...Everyone at the company is excited, and I am as well. Last week, I met about 40 out of the 80 people that work there. It was great!

Anna and the baby are here (arrived Monday morning). Things have been kind of hectic, so I am looking forward to a little sleep this weekend while they're visiting the in-laws in Nashville.

*** HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO EM!!! I'll be riding back to J-town early with Em either tomorrow or Saturday. I'm looking forward to seeing her since I haven't actually seen her since January. I'll get to hang out with friends before the work begins.

I hope school/work is going well for everyone! I'm thinking about you guys!

Just to let everyone know-I have had a phone interview and an on-site interview with the GodwinGroup in Jackson. The position I applied for is for Associate (or Junior) Research Analyst. I am very excited about it because this is something I really want to do. They have had me working hard on a project this weekend (they want to see how I can accomplish projects required for the position). Keep your fingers crossed for me! I hope to find out something very soon!

Yes, it has been a while. Just job searching/looking into teaching in Spain with Megs. My nephew just left. I'm kind of sad...oh well...I'll see him in a few weeks. BTW, I hate physical therapy!! It sucks!!

It's official...I'm done...I took my last exam and turned in my last paper...my undergrad career is over with (as long as I pass)....What a relief...maybe if I were at home I would feel more excited....it doesn't feel real over here...I'm so upset with this whole W affair and the alumni office....Dr. Limbert has pissed off too many people this time...

I will try and take my mind off of that....my roomies and I are going to have a picnic over at Russell Square for dinner. It's my last night in the dorm...yeah! No more hell hole/dump! It should be a lot of fun....

The Thursday right before Easter I went back to Alnwick Castle since they opened it for the season....I just wanted you guys to see a couple of the pics....I took nearly 200, but I'm only uploading 2!

Scenes from Harry Potter I and II, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, Elizabeth, and many more movies and tv shows were shot at this castle. The countryside and gardens for the castle were breath-taking!
